The basic forms were in place, and work continued to further define the lines, planes and negative spaces. The goal of sculpture is to activate space, both positive and negative space. Since I am trying to portray these birds flying in air, the negative spaces are especially important.
With the basic shapes done, I start to edit. I work on defining more distinct lines and smoothing planes.
